[Part one of a series on the most insane things I've found at the thrift store]
If you've ever stepped foot into a thrift store, you have likely seen items that make you say, "What the [insert expletive of your choice]?!" I've seen my share of crazy donations, but it takes a special breed to make me stop dead in my tracks and say a little prayer for the previous owner.
Here's some that have moved me to taking a picture to forever remember their absurdity:
| On his journey, the great Odysseus encountered his most formidable opponent: the ceramic-squirrel-cyclops-spoon-rest and his towering serving spoon covered in neon vomit. |
| Paper maché patchwork kitty. Never blinks. |
| First place in Eukanuba's "Face Only a 93-year-old Woman with Cataracts Could Love" category. |
| When a hunter shoots a large animal, he mounts it over his mantle. When his buddy gets in the way of shooting said animal and the bullet grazes his buddy's rear, he turns the injured hindquarters into a bar stool and pins it on Pinterest. |
| If this sweater had names starting with "J" beside the hand prints, it would be the Duggar children's Mothers' Day present. Wait.. |
| Fixed! Happy Mothers' Day, Mrs. Duggar! |
Now take a minute, rub your eyes, flush them out with water, and enjoy the rest of your day!
